Nature’s gang land || lincoln park
This place makes my heart sing! Yes I will miss the tragic Swan Boats, they always brought a smile to the faces of our out-of-town guests, as we peddle powered our way under the bridge, through the low lying trees, whilst dodging the ducks and other out of control tourists! But this city needed to give back to nature! And this nature ‘Gang’ Land designed by the team at Studio Gang really does an outstanding job of transforming Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo’s South Pond into a ‘Nature Boardwalk‘. The colors, the textures, the movement, the enjoyment. I am really going to take pleasure watching it’s grasses and wetland flourish, and as we see all sorts of wildlife take residence. I also can’t wait to experience it in the winter, frosty and covered in snow! Well done! In my books this is a winning space! Get out and enjoy it!
