PS. Hello everyone. We are back click here for all the pictures from our trip to Okavango Delta – Botswana.

Today we transfer to a ‘Safari Lodge’ for our last 2 nights in the Okavango Delta. Here we will enjoy morning breakfasts on our rooftop ‘sala’ watching the night turn into day before starting off on a game drive. In the afternoon we hope to get in a ‘mokoro‘ to enjoy the maze of sparkling lagoons, meandering channels and overgrown islands teaming with wildlife. Lion, leopard, cheetah and African wild dog, share the floodplains with large herds of elephant and buffalo. Hippos inhabit the deeper channels and lagoons, while honey badgers can be seen in broad daylight. And close to the water there are plenty of iridescent dragonflies, frogs of every colour and jewel-like kingfishers that live in the papyrus-lined banks.
