Botswana || Okavango Delta

There are no words to describe Africa, well at least any that I could  find that would be sufficient. Magical, enchanting, spiritual, the list goes on, even the thesaurus was pulled out, I have tried to find many or even just one word, but none of them seem to satisfy. That is because experiencing Africa is more of a feeling than words, one that engages all your senses and emotions and connects you with something primal, something I have never really felt before, it is like it provides you with a connection to our being. Botswana, like Zimbabwe, was no exception to this experience, it drew us in, and it’s true, once it gets under your skin you will never be able to let it go. I still frequently have dreams of Africa and I still long to return.

My husband and I had the conversation flying home ‘how will we describe this experience’? The best we could come up with was if you could only experience one continent, one part of the world make it Africa. These photos were taken in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, this country should be included in your exploring – amazing.

      Actually 70-80% of the pics were taken by myself … I do get lots of tips and coaching from Coscarelli : ) Although we were close a great light-weight 55-300mm lens does help and with a small chip in the camera means 1.5 X the focal length again out of the lens …
