Fabric || be warehouse

Someone needs to start a TV Reality series on shopkeepers that are hoarders. I know where they can start the pilot, here in Chicago on W.21st Street. We called by this fabric warehouse looking for some material to upholster a wall with. We were told that out of the four floors the upholstery fabrics could be found in the back rooms on the main floor and then in the basement. Gulp! We ventured into the basement. It was dank and scary with things that went bump in the night. I was truly freaked out and overwhelmed with all the choices. As we searched high and low I turned a corner and found a little old lady quietly cutting out fabric samples and labeling them. I think she had been down there in the basement for years and someone just forgot to tell her to go home. We left empty-handed and in need of a stiff drink.
