Summer || dinner party

Here is a Summer Dinner Party brought to you by the man that was behind other fine feasts such as ‘Greek – Winning Dinner‘ & ‘Thanksgiving – Smells like Dinner‘. Thanks once again for a delightful culinary evening. Many of the recipes from this event are closely guarded secrets, so the links are to ‘like’ recipes. The borscht and dessert were so incredible they should make there way onto a menu at a dinner party at your house sometime soon. It all started with a welcoming Cherry Champagne Punch [above].

The dinner then began with a Tilapia Ceviche accompanied with corn & hominy, each dish served had an element of lime & habanero to tie the menu together.

Next-up was a delightful, and I think the best Broscht we have ever experienced. Perfection, with a ‘wonderful mouth-feel’.

We moved onto stuffed artichoke hearts accompanied by a remoulade.

This dish was so inventive, moist & dreamy all-round, although the name is deceiving – Meat Loaf Pate with Poached Eggs & Pepper Potatoes. One guest had consumed the entire plate before I could get my fork into it.

And finally Dessert, a refreshingly zingy ending to a wonderful dinning experience, with some Watermelon Granita & Lemon Tart. YuMMMmmm!
