Palm Springs || Long Weekend

PSC

Palm Springs has been on the ‘TO VISIT’ list for a long time, and we are finally making our way there this weekend for an extended weekend. We are looking forward to seeing all the fabulous architecture, and to being taken back to a place in time. We will be staying here and here. Do you have any must do / see / drink / eat recommendations to share?

I have been gathering ideas over here on Pinterest, and I would gladly welcome more thoughts tips & tricks….

    If you have time, visit Old Town La Quinta. It’s known for it’s boutique shops, art shows, and weekly farmers markets. We had a great meal at Solano’s Bistro which is right in Old Town. Back in Palm Springs, we enjoyed hiking the Indian Canyon Trails. I have to admit, I’m jealous you can get there for a long weekend as it is one of my favorite places to visit and being from Wisconsin, I could sure use some desert sun and warmth! I hope you have a great trip!

      The warm weather was good for the soul. We loved Indian Canyon – especially the architecture in the residential part.

    I will be heading there in May!
    I’ve been told the gondola to top of the mountain is great.
    Can’t wait to get ideas from your visit!!

      The Aerial Tramway was not for the faint at heart – beautiful views and highly recommended. Will post recommendations over the next week or so … Enjoy your trip.
